ITINERARY: BISHKEK – KARAKOL - ALTYN ARASHAN VALLEY –JETI OGUZ VALLEY– FAIRY TAIL CANYON- BOKONBAEVA -BISHKEK DURATION: 7 days / 6 nights ENTERTAINMENT: hiking, visit to canyons, waterfall, visit to yurt maker, eagle hunter. Hot springs Sleep in a yurts. Museums. Bishkek-Karakol In the morning I will pic you up from hotel at 8.30. than Departure to the Karakol town. Today we will drive we will drive along the northern shore of Yssyk-Kyl lake. Upon arrival to Karakol a sight seeing tour of the old wooden Russian church (built without nails), the Dungan Mosque (Dungan is an ethnic minority of Chinese Muslims who moved from Western China) and Kupechesky Proezd Street, which resembles an old Russian village of the 19th century. Also we will have dinner in a local dungan family we will try special local dishes ash-lyam fu. Overnight at the guest house. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Karakol - Jyrgalan valley Today, after breakfast, we will go to the village of Jergalan, where we will stay overnight in a guest house. On this day, we will arrange a horseback ride in the vicinity of a beautiful mountain valley. You can enjoy the tranquility of this high altitude place. On horseback we will go to the Kok-Bel waterfall and to the lake Turnaly kol. On the way to the waterfall, you will have a breathtaking view of the Jergalan valley. In the evening we will return to the guest house with a delicious dinner Overnight at the guest house. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Karakol - Altyn Arashan After lunch we will start our trekking toward to the picturesque gorge Altyn-Arashan valley famous for coniferous forests, flower meadows and interesting hiking trails. (14 km one way, the journey takes 4 hours) “Altyn-Arashan” in Kyrgyz means “golden hot springs”. The valley is famous for its healing radon sources. Overnight on a picturesque green pasture. Free time, during which you can swim in hot radon water and experience its healing properties. Dinner and night in guest house. Overnight at the guest house. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Altyn -Arashan –Karakol Today after breakfast we go back to the Karakol city. After lunch we drive toward to the picturesque gorge Dzheti-Oguz (Seven bulls) (40 km), famous for coniferous forests, flower meadows and interesting hiking trails. Overnight at the guest house. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Trekking in the Jeti-Oguz valley Today after breakfast we do trekking around through the forest in the pictures mountain with colorful valley and visit to waterfall and come back to a guest house Dinner and overnight in a the same guest house. Overnight at the guest house. Meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner Jeti Oguz - canyon Fairy – Bokonbaev village Today After breakfast we will again continue our journey, drive toward to Bokonbaev villagge along the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul. You will see an amazing difference between the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul and the southern shore. The southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul is more diverse in landscape and less populated. The coast is open and you can drive up to it, almost everywhere. We will visit the Fairy Tale canyon gorge with beautiful sculptures, similar to fairy-tale heroes and built by nature from red sand, After discovering this stunning place, you meet a berkutchy, a kyrgyz eagle hunter, who will show you how does he train his golden eagle for hunting, and tell you about his passion for this majestic bird.
